Called the gateway to Yosemite National Park, a historic mining town that is a tourist attraction in its own right.



Settled in 1851, the downtown area is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is known as the Coulterville Main Street Historic District.


Yosemite National Park

Designated a World Heritage Site and recognized internationally for it’s spectacular granite domes and waterfalls, the United States National Park spans Tuolumne, Mariposa and Madera counties and covers 761,268 acres.


Don Pedro Reservoir

One of the 5 largest artificial lakes in California, Don Pedro is located in the Stanislaus National Forest of Tuoloumne County.
